braille watch of the future
Braille Watches are not new, there have been silvana braille watches and various other brands of pendant braille watches, but they have all been standard watches with faces that open so one can feel where the watch hands are. Frankly, ye classic braille watches are just normal watches with open faces.

But that could all change! American designer David Chavez has built what could be the future of braille timepieces. Dubbed the Haptica, the watch has is the first with a full braille dial. The braille face works in the same manner a digital watch does. The watch mechanism turns the raised dots to form numbers. Its amazing that this wasn’t invented earlier. This all braille watch is so stylish looking I could imagine wearing one myself, and I have no clue how to read braille. I could easily see this watch making the steam punk rounds.
