Bacon is wonderful, especially when you have the hankering for savory food. However, recent technological breakthroughs have made it possible for bacon to become not just a savory food but also a sweet food. Just look to the above Luther burger, which consists of two donut buns, two pieces of bacon, a slice of cheese and a 1/4 pound of ground beef. Yum! Although, however unlikely it is, you might not want a heavy sweet snack like the Luther but something smaller and lighter might fit your fancy. For those interested in lighter snack a chunk of bacon chocolate or a bacon lolly might cure your hankering for delicious, delicious bacon!
5. Bacon Flavored Jelly Beans
Bacon Beans are really nothing more than a gage gift. They come in a wonderful bacon tin, however that is almost the only bacon about them. They do not have a strong bacon flavor, however there is a hint of bacon flavor in the after taste. Unfortunately, the after taste is completely overshadowed by the horrible medicine taste, most of the amazon reviews testify to this. But, if you want to screw with a coworker this could be the gift for you, especially if you hate the recipient, and at only $6.69 it is fairly cheap!
4. Bacon Gumballs
Bacon Gumballs are slightly better than the Bacon Beans, but are not going to replace your everyday gum. Essentially the gum suffers from the shortfall that all gum seems to have, it runs out of flavor after only a minute or two. At first the gum tastes strongly of bacon, but it quickly goes south as it starts to taste more plastic like and medicine like. Fortunately, those first few moments are worth spitting it out after only a minute. It is definitely strange and would make an unusual gift or gage for one of your friends, and at only $5.99 it is worth the price!
3. Bacon Flavored Mints
Uncle Oinker’s Bacon Mints are little, white and taste like little chunks of bacon. These mints wont improve your breath, unless you are in love with bacon breath. Keep a tin of these on hand and give them to friends seeking fresh breath and you will soon be the most popular guy around. But, realistically these would make excellent party favors or unusual gifts, at only $3.79 each tin is marked down from $5.99!
2. Lollyphile Maple Bacon Lollipops
Lollyphile Maple Bacon Lollipops are the pinnacle of lollipop flavor technology. Each is a delightful bacon flavored orb, savory and sweet, the bacon is melded perfectly to the maple-syrup exterior. Unfortunately the popularity of this brand of lollipop means that amazon has a hard time keeping it in stock. At time this post was written amazon is currently out -of-stock but I encourage you to check out the page and read the user reviews.
1. Chocolate and Bacon Candy Bar

The Vosges Dark Chocolate ‘Bacon Bar’ is the epitome of bacon candy. Each bite brings you one step closer to bacon rapture. Unlike many other bacon candy options this bacon chocolate actually makes you want to have more. Unfortunately like the lollyphile bacon lollipops the bacon bar is frequently out of stock due to the high popularity. But, I encourage you to go check the current stock status at amazon.

Love the Mo’s Bacon Bar. I have to say I like the dark chocolate version better than the normal. The saltiness of the bacon tastes great with the dark chocolate. We get em at Whole Foods here in Dallas. Need to try some of the others!
Hmm… the gumballs and jelly beans both taste very bad, not like bacon at all. Bacon mints lack bacon flavor as well. The Mo’s bacon bar is fine, but you can do just as well at home or even better with a good ganache recipe.
Lollyphile maple bacon pops are gone forever, the company is no longer producing them as of June.
The only maple bacon pops (and the best) are still at http://www.dasfoods.com. And they’re only 50 cents instead of $2.50 each!

Thanks for the info on lollyphile, that is to bad. I guess the ones at dasfoods will have to do.
On the one hand, I like the look of most of the bacon products. But, on the other hand, I know from my past experience that I wouldn’t necessarily like the taste of food items that mix sweet with savory…
